In Times of Winter or Famine

For my LDS associates (or interested others)...I have debated posting this article that I came across several months ago, but I think I will go ahead and do it just the same.  Should we all be doing a few more vegetarian meals and cutting back on our meat dishes?  Read the article and comment...I would love to hear weigh-ins on this.

I didn't read the entire article, but I know I personally eat too much meat. I've started making one vegetarian meal every week. Baby steps.

So my friend, for health reason, has started a 'whole-food, plant-based diet' .... I have been trying to support her, coming up with meal plans, doing it ourselves and such... It has been great! I agree with the article. I do not think that we need meat nearly as much as we think. I keep trying to convince Jordan. But personally I have tried to cut meat back to 2-3 times a week. I would love to cut it down to once, or less. A great movie to watch is, 'Forks over Knives' You can watch it on Netflix instant view, or I think Hulu. Anyways, its great! I highly recommend!
